a. If there is no binding when spur

NOTE
Spur gear may move on pump shaft. This is
not end play. Pump shaft must move in and
out of the housing.

CHECK END PLAY BETWEEN
PUMP SHAFTS (6) AND HOUSING (7).
a. Grasp gears (4) and (5) and move
shafts (6) in and out of housing (7).
b. If there is end play in both shafts (6),
go to step 26. If not, go to step 25.1.
REPLACE PUMP. RECORD FAILURE

ON DA FORM 2407 AND RETURN
DEFECTIVE PUMP TO DEPOT.
GO TO STEP 40.
