5. REMOVE HYDRAULIC
A C C U M U L A T O R (1).
a. Remove four screws (2) and lock
washers (3). Discard lock washers.
b . Lift out accumulator (1).
c. Remove and discard accumulator
housing gasket (4).
INSTALL ADAPTER (5).
7.
a. Coat new preformed packing (7)
6 . REMOVE ADAPTER (5) AND
with transmission oil.
ELBOW (6).
b, Install packing (7) on adapter (5).
a. Unscrew adapter (5).
c. Install adapter (5) in accumulator (1).
b. Remove and discard preformed
packing (7).
U S I N G 3/8-lNCH DRIVE TORQUE
8.
c. Unscrew elbow (6).
W R E N C H AND 9/16-lNCH CROWFOOT,
TORQUE ADAPTER (5) TO 125-135 in-lb
Remove and discard preformed
(144-155 cmkg).
d. packing (8).
