38. INSTALL SEAL (1).
a. Install new gasket (2).
b. Install seal (1) on shaft (3) with
beveled end (4) toward output
housing (5).
39. INSTALL EIGHT SCREWS (6).
a. Using 3/8-inch drive ratchet handle
with extension and 7/16-inch
socket, install eight new lock
washers (7) and screws (6).
40. USING 3/8-lNCH DRIVE TORQUE
WRENCH WITH EXTENSION AND
7 / 1 6 - l N C H SOCKET, TORQUE
EIGHT SCREWS (6) TO 75-100 in-lb
(86-115 cmkg).
41. INSTALL RIGHT-HAND OUTPUT
HOUSING. See task REPLACE
