7. INSPECT THIRD RANGE CLUTCH
HOUSING (1) FOR DAMAGE.
8 . REMOVE CLUTCH HOUSING (1).
a. Inspect clutch housing (1) for damage.
a. Remove six screws (2).
See page 2-5.
b. Lift off clutch housing (1).
b. If clutch housing (1) is damaged, go
c. Replace clutch housing (1).
to step 8. If not, go to step 9.
9 . IF CLUTCH HOUSING (1) WAS
REMOVED, GO TO STEP 10. IF
NOT, GO TO STEP 12.
10. INSTALL NEW CLUTCH HOUSING (1).
a. Hold clutch housing (1) on gearshaft
spline (3) and aline six screw holes.
b. Install six screws (2).
11. USING 1/2-lNCH DRIVE TORQUE
WRENCH, TORQUE SIX SCREWS (2)
TO 10-12 ft-lb (1-2 mkg).
