35. REMOVE CONE AND ROLLERS (2)
FROM PINION (1).
a. Using mechanical puller kit, remove
cone and rollers (2) from pinion (1).
Discard cone and rollers.
36. INSPECT PINION (1).
34. REMOVE SPIRAL BEVEL PINION (1)
a . Inspect pinion (1) for damage, See
W I T H CONE AND ROLLERS (2) FROM

GEARSHAFT (3).
b. If pinion (1) is not damaged, go to
a. Using mechanical puller kit, remove
step 37. If pinion is damaged, replace
pinion (1) with cone and rollers (2)

37. CHECK PINION (1)
38. INSPECT ROLLER CUP (4).

Using micrometer caliper set, measure
a. Inspect cup (4) for damage. See
outside diameter of pinion (1).

Replace pinion (1) if measurement is
