REPAIR COOLING FAN RIGHT ANGLE DRIVES A AND B -- Continued

4.
Install drive A indicator cover (9) or drive B mounting plate (7) on housing (2) as follows:
a.
Clean threads of four cap screws (10). Apply a light coat of antiseize compound to threads.
b.
Install drive A indicator cover (9) or drive B mounting plate (7) on housing (2) with four washers (11) and cap
screws (10).
c.
Tighten cap screws (10) to 42-48 lb-in (4.8-5.4 Nm) torque. Use torque wrench and socket set.
d.
Install new lockwire (12) between four cap screws (10) using twist method. Use wire twister pliers.
5.
Lubricate new packing (13) with grease or petrolatum and install packing on cap plug (14).
6.
Install cap plug (14) in housing (2). Secure with new lockwire (15). Use wire twister pliers.
