Both doors are opened.
Hand drill (Appendix B, Section III, Item 1)
Hand grinder (Appendix B, Section III, Item 2)

a. Removal
WARNING
To gain access to the seals on the bottom door edge, it may be necessary to raise the container above floor level.
Use lifting devices rated for a minimum of 10,000 pounds (4536 Kg). Using less than rated equipment could
expose personnel to serious injury or death.
NOTE
-
Removal of the seals is the same for both left- and right-hand doors.

Perform Steps 1 through 3 for Model ESETC-01. Original seals are installed using nails. When seals are replaced,
stainless steel rivets are used.

Perform Steps 4 and 5 for Model 101.
(1) Grind the heads off of all the nails (1) or rivets.
There are six on each top and bottom edge and 10

on each side edge.
