1. ADJUSTMENT
NOTE
Valve tappets are adjusted when engine is cold.
a.
Rotate engine so the tappets are in their lowest
position.
b.
Adjust the inlet valve tappet clearance to .008 inch
and the exhaust to .016 inch.
