1. DISASSEMBLY
Remove relief valve from body using a 1-1/8 inch open end wrench.
a.
Hold relief valve assembly with a 1-1/8 inch open end wrench, then use open end wrench and
b.
remove pilot cartidge (Knob cartridge housing) from relief valve housing. Remove spring.
Remove "O" ring and backup ring from cartridge housing.
c.
Remove large "O" ring from cartridge housing.
d.
Remove cap from cartridge housing, using open end wrench.
e.
f.
Remove spring and poppet.
Remove cap "O" ring.
g.
Remove piston, piston "O" ring, nut and knob from cap.
h.
i.
Remove the large "O" ring from the relief valve housing.
Remove the "O" ring and back up ring from the relief valve housing.
j.
