Wire rope, 5/8-inch. Attach through thimbles on vehicle tiedown points in a complete loop and through the
thimble in each stake pocket on the same side of the car at an approximate 45angle. On chain tiedown
cars, chains may be used in lieu of cables.

Clamps, 5/8-inch. Secure the ends of the wire rope with four clamps each. Secure the thimbles with one
clamp each.
