Cleaning.

(1) Remove all buildup of dirt, grease, etc. by wiping with a clean, soft

cloth (item 23, Appendix C).

WARNING

Do not breathe cleaning solvent P-D-680 vapors for long periods of time or use solvent near open

flames. To avoid illness, explosion, or fire, only use solvent in well-ventilated areas away from open

flames.

Clean all parts using a medium bristle brush (item 14, Appendix C) or a soft cloth (Item 23, Appendix C)

and cleaning solvent (item 4, Appendix C).

(3)

Allow all parts to dry.

Inspection.

(1)

Inspect for damaged or worn ring gear teeth.

(2)

Inspect flywheel for cracks.
