ASSEMBLY
NOTE
Clean all cylinder head components before assembling.
a.
Apply anti-seize compound to pipe plugs (6, 7, 8, 0 and 11, FIGURE 4-8).
Install pipe plugs.
b.
Install the valve stem seals (4) as shown in FIGURE 4-25.

CAUTION
Lube stems with SAE 90 weight oil.
NOTE
The intake and exhaust seals are the same.
c.
Compress the valve spring using valve spring compressor (3, FIGURE 4-8) after assembling the spring (3)
and retainer (2) as shown in FIGURE 4-26).
