Contactor chatter.
STEP 1. Check for loose wiring or connections.
Secure as required.
STEP 2. Check for proper voltage.
If low voltage, check voltage to contactor (paragraph 2-17).
STEP 3. Check for vibration or dirty thermostat contacts.
Remove thermostat cover and clean with small soft bristle brush.
