Section Il. SERVICE UPON RECEIPT

GENERAL.

T h i s section contains instructions for services to be performed by the

u s i n g organization upon receipt of a new or overhauled Airmobile Trans-

p o r t e r . These services include checking, unpacking, and servicing the

transporter.

CHECKING AND UNPACKING EQUIPMENT.

Inspect the equipment for damage incurred during shipment. If the

e q u i p m e n t h a s b e e n d a m a g e d , r e p o r t the damage on SF 364, Reports

of Discrepancies.

Check the equipment against the packing slip to see if the shipment

i s complete.

R e p o r t all discrepancies in accordance with the in-

s t r u c t i o n s o f T M- 3 8 - 7 5 0 . -

Check to see whether the equipment has been modified.

R e m o v e strapping, tapes, seals, and o t h e r

protective

shipping

materials.
