a. Remove cotter pin (l),
Hydraulic Jack

washer (2), and straight
p i n ( 3 ) . P l a c e hydraulic
jack (5) in a vertical
p o s i t i o n , loosen bleed
valve (8) and fully re-
tract cylinder (4). Re-
m o v e plug (7) and add hy-
draulic fluid (MIL-H-5606)
until fluid level is even
w i t h bottom of filler hole
(6).
b. Replace plug (7). Close
b l e e d valve (8) and pump
hydraulic jack (5) until
cylinder (4) can be aligned
with bracket (9). Install
straight pin (3), washer
(2), and new cotter pin
(1).
