R E P L A C E M E N T OF OXYGEN PIGTAIL (46, 47 or 48).
To replace the oxygen pigtails, proceed as follows:
4.5.1
Bleed pressure from the Oxygen Servicing
1.
U n i t per paragraph 4.4.
If necessary for access, remove one or both
2.
r e m o v a b l e tubes (17) and oxygen bottles,
paragraphs 3.5 and 4.6.1.2.
Disconnect and remove the appropriate oxygen
3.
pigtail.
4.
Install new "CLEANED FOR OXYGEN SERVICE"
oxygen pigtail.
5.
Connect the input end of the oxygen pigtail to a
pressure source and perform a leak check per
Reinstall any oxygen bottles and removable tubes
6.
which were removed per paragraphs 3.2.1 and
4.6.1.9.
REPLACEMENT OF MANIFOLD (32).
4.6.1
To replace the manifold, proceed as follows:
1.
Perform steps of paragraph 4.4.
2.
I f removable tubes have oxygen bottles in them,
unload oxygen bottles per paragraph 3.5.
3.
T o remove the two removable oxygen bottle
tubes, remove four each screws, nuts and
w a s h e r s (18, 19 and 20) at the forward end
a n d three screws (21) at the aft end in each
o f the two removable tubes (17) on the right
s i d e of the unit, and remove the tubes.
4.
D i s c o n n e c t the nine oxygen pigtails (46, 47
a n d 48) and cover the open ends with plastic
